NPO法人ピープルデザイン研究所（以下「PDI」）が、渋谷ヒカリエで2014年から開催している『2020年、渋谷。超福祉の日常を体験しよう展』（以下「超福祉展」）が、2020年9月8日で閉幕となった。 超福祉展は、障害や福祉、マイノリティ ーに対する意識のバリアを取り除くために、あらゆる社会障害を解決できる最先端のプロダクトやサービスの展示 や体験、そして魅力的なプレゼンターによるシンポジウムが行われる、今までの福祉の概念を超えた一大イベントだ。 僕はこの超福祉展を通して、多くの人と出会い、さまざまな価値観を知った。自分とは異なる、障害のある人が感じる困難さや、課題の解決方法を知ることで、新たな視点を手に入れることもできたし、僕自身が持つアイデアや取り組みを世に広める方法も身に付けることができた。一言で表すのは、大変恐縮だが、「発見、行動、伝播（でんぱ）」につながり、自己成長ができるイベントと言える。 また、さまざまな社会障害や課題に対して、何が正解かを説くのではなく、毎年アップデートされた多様な問いが随所に散りばめられていることで、それをどう解消するかのを参加した人たちで一緒に考えていくというプロセスが何ともポジティブで心地よいと感じる。 この感覚は、PDIの須藤シンジさんと最初に出会った時に感じたワクワク感と似ている気がする。須藤さんと出会ったのは、2011年6月だ。きっかけになったのは、僕が不慮の事故により脊髄（せきずい）を損傷し、入院している時に、兄がプレゼントしてくれたユニークなデザインのルームシューズだった。これが須藤さんの手がけるNextidevolutionのアイテムだったのだ。 こんな面白いデザイン、誰が考え、誰が作っているのか、そしてどんな理由でこのデザインにしたのか知りたくて、ウェブサイトの問い合わせフォームからメッセージを送り、面談の機会をいただいた。この時点で、僕は新たな発見と行動を起こすことができた。 そして、須藤さんが思い描く「障害者と健常者（違いのある人たち）が自然と混ざり合う社会」というワードに強く共感し、以来、このワードを全国各地で講演する際に使わせてもらい、波及させてきたつもりだ。そのおかげで、多くの人と出会い 、縁が広がり、講演や研修の依頼や新たなプロジェクト立ち上げの誘いを受けるなど、自分自身を成長させることができた。 実際、タイムアウト東京とのご縁は、2017年キックオフの時だった。代表の伏谷博之さんによる『OPEN TOKYO』のプレゼンテーションを聴いて感動し、即座に意見交換の機会をいただき、コラボレーションの形を模索した。その後、『OPEN TOKYO Talk』に登壇させていただいたり、『THE NIKKEI MAGAZINE FUTURECITY』への協力、銀座や箱根のアクセシブルガイドマップ監修、そして、この『車いす目線で考える』のコラム連載につながっていった。このように、参加企業や団体間が連携することで、より多くの人を巻き込むことができ、人の心や社会に潜む「意識のバリア」を解消することができるだろう。 また、超福祉展では、社会全般的にネガティブなものとして描かれることをポジティブにするだけでなく、そのポジティブをさらに超えていくデザインや表現で、展示とシンポジウムが行われてきた。例えば、「障害」「福祉」「車いす」といったワードを聞くと、ほとんどの人が、身構えたり距離を置いてしまったりするだろう。 しかし、そのワードにカッコよさ、かわいさ、ポップさを盛り込んで、あらゆるジャンル（アート、ファ

Hundreds of Oktoberfest celebrations pop up across the United States every year, but none carry the authentic stamp of Bavaria quite like this one. For the first time, two of Munich's most iconic names—FC Bayern, Germany's record soccer champions, and Paulaner, Germany's most popular brewery—are joining forces to bring a true Oktoberfest experience to New York City. For the past month, a little bit of Portugal has found its way to Dumbo. In honor of the World Cup, Brooklyn’s Time Out Market New York has been transformed into Portugal House, a lively fan hub for all soccer-related activities and a cultural showcase that introduces the range of food, wine, and beauty found across Portugal. Since June, the pop-up has shone a light on the most magnificent cities and regions through gastronomy and drink, with stopovers in the country's central hub, Lisbon, and a tour of the dramatic volcanic landscapes of the Azores. The last pitstop will highlight the country’s southern side, and you won’t want to miss it.  On July 13 and July 14, head to the Market for a taste of Alentejo. Kick off the afternoon with live musical acts on the terrace from Helena Caldeira & Surma and Valas and Tozé Bexiga. Chef Filipe Macedo of Portugal's Páteo Real will take over the roof kitchen to bring the experience home, handing out free passed bites of bacalhau d’oro, a classic Portuguese-style cod dish. Portuguese wines will be available for purchase, including selections such as the João Portugal Ramos Reserva and João Portugal Ramos Alvarinho.  The music starts at 1:30pm and free bites start at 2:30pm. Can you believe it’s been 10 years since TfL introduced the night tube? A decade ago London finally launched a night-time tube service for Friday and Saturday nights, taking a step towards the capital becoming a true 24-hour city. Since then, TfL says a whopping 67 million people have used it and that the service cuts down average night-time journey times by around 20 minutes. The night tube was announced back in 2013 by then-mayor Boris Johnson and began on August 19 2016 with the Central and Victoria lines. The Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines followed throughout that autumn, while the Overground service now known as the Windrush line began a night service in December 2017 (and expanded it in February 2018). The night tube hasn’t been running constantly since then, having been suspended in March 2020 during the pandemic (and only fully restored in July 2022), but these days it’s hard to imagine the city without it. TfL says the night tube averages 81,000 journeys per night, with Saturdays tending to be busier than Fridays. En una conversación con Andrea Gumes y Andreu Juanola, el mago ha dejado de lado los trucos para confesar que, bajo la espectacularidad de sus espectáculos, se esconde un paladar de gustos sencillos. Una dieta de supervivencia: macarrones y escalopa Ante el hipotético escenario de un apocalipsis, Díaz lo tiene claro. Ni trufa, ni esferificaciones: "Salvaría los macarrones, las croquetas y la escalopa".
