As part of the celebrations for the new Nintendo Switch game Pokémon Pokopia

Pokémon fans, an unmistakably Pokémon-themed truck is about to start roaming Singapore, bringing a new game along for the ride. Timed with the launch of Pokémon Pokopia, the latest life simulation title from The Pokémon Company, a 24-foot LED Pokémon Truck will be rolling across the island from now to June 4, turning ordinary mall forecourts into miniature Pokémon playgrounds.
Step inside the truck and you’ll find a cosy gaming nook decked out with five demo stations running the game on the Nintendo Switch 2. The premise of Pokémon Pokopia is delightfully odd: you play as a Ditto (impersonating a human) to befriend new Pokémon and learn skills like building, crafting, and gardening to rebuild a desolate world.
But the action doesn’t stop at the truck door. Outside, the setup spills into a mini fan zone where kids can park themselves at a colouring corner, families can queue up for themed photo ops, and anyone with even a shred of nostalgia can snap pictures in a dedicated Pokopia photo booth. Our beloved Pikachu will also make an appearance, and don’t forget to grab yourself a limited edition Pokémon sun visor – while stocks last.
The truck will be hanging out at malls on weekends from 10am to 7pm, kicking off March at Bugis+ from March 6 to 8, then Bugis Junction from March 13 to 15, Chinatown Point from March 20 to 22, and VivoCity from March 27 to 29. Missed it this month? No stress – more stops in April and May will be announced soon.
