Starting Monday, October 6, McDonald’s customers can “rediscover the thrill of the peel” as Monopoly makes its long-awaited comeback. It’s been ten years since the fast-food giant last ran the fan-favorite game, and this time they’re adding a digital twist.

For the first time, players can collect both the classic peel-off game pieces and new digital ones in the McDonald’s app. “Two chances to win are always better than one,” the company teased—and judging by the prize pool, they’re not wrong.

What’s up for grabs? Just about everything. From dream vacations and a $10,000 Lowe’s shopping spree to a whopping $1 million in cash, prizes range from indulgent to life-changing. Frequent flyers will eye the one million American Airlines AAdvantage miles, while gamers can land a MONOPOLY GO! location and car buffs could drive away in a 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Naturally, free food prizes are sprinkled throughout the promotion too.

Here’s how it works: Register to play by downloading the McDonald’s app; hit “Rewards” and sign up. Pre-register before October 6 and you’ll score 500 bonus MyMcDonald’s Rewards points. Next, choose from over 30 menu items (including a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, large fries and plenty more favorites) to snag game pieces. If you don't want to order, you can request a piece online at amoe.playatmcd.com. Like back in the day, just pop the game pieces off packaging or you can scan QR codes or virtually peel in the app to see what you’ve won. Players also get a second shot with an in-app bonus game running through November 2.

Monopoly at McDonald’s has always been part game, part cultural moment, and this relaunch doubles down on both. With physical and digital play, plus more ways to win, the stakes are bigger than ever.
