Hozier, Shania Twain, Courteeners, Madness and James headline the Lancashire fest this week.

Still nursing your post-Glastonbury blues (or been watching on telly) and craving some more live music? We've got just the thing for you. Lytham Festival started this week — a glorious five-day event in the pretty seaside town of Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. And this year's line-up is bigger than ever.
Over the years Lytham Festival has grown from a one-day event to a musical extravaganza lasting a whole five days, with a capacity of 20,000. So far this year, there have been headline sets from icons Hozier and Shania Twain, with performances from Courteeners, Madness and James still to come.
Heading to Lytham over the next few days? Here’s everything you need to know, from ticket availability to set times.
This year’s fest takes place from July 3-7.
It depends, but every day general admission, the Garden, VIP Park Lounge and accessible gates will open at 5pm.
For Madness (July 6) gates will open at 3pm, while for James (July 7) gates will open at 4pm.
Gates are opening early for Madness so that punters can get in and watch England’s next Euros match on the big screen. England v Switzerland kicks off at 5pm.
Entertainment on all nights is expected to finish by 11pm.
The headliners are Hozier, Shania Twain, Courteeners, Madness and James (doing a special orchestral set). Here are the daily line-ups.

Festival goers aren't allowed to bring chairs to sit on, but you're free to bring a picnic blanket to sit on the ground.
