[title]Glastonbury Festival has taken a year off – so we’re even more eager than usual for it to return next summer. Details about Glastonbury 2027 have now been officially confirmed: we now know when it’ll be (June 23 to Sunday June 27) and how much tickets will cost (from £408).
It’s also been revealed when tickets will go on sale – and they’re soon. The two dates to make sure you’re ready are Thursday October 1 (for coach packages) and Sunday October 4 (for the rest).
Glastonbury 2025 was a stonking edition well worthy of being followed by a year off. When is Glastonbury 2027?
The dates for the next Glastonbury Festival were officially confirmed in September 2026. The dates to keep free (if you’re planning that far ahead) are Wednesday June 23 to Sunday June 27, 2027.

Currently it’s too early for Glasto to have revealed any of its next lineup. However, the following artists are bookies’ favourites:

How to get Glastonbury 2027 tickets
Tickets will go on sale on the following dates:
- Thursday October 1 at 6pm – coach and ticket packages
- Sunday October 4 at 9am – standard tickets
How much will tickets cost?
For the first time ever, Glastonbury tickets cost more than £400. General admission tickets will be £408, including a £5 booking fee.
If you choose to pay in instalments, you’ll have to pay a deposit of £100. The remaining balance of £308 will then be payable from 9am BST on April 1 to 11.59pm BST on April 7.
How many people go to Glastonbury?
More than 210,000 people go to the festival on Worthy Farm each year.

Glastonbury always takes place on Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

The headliners for the most recent edition of Glastonbury were The 1975, Neil Young, Olivia Rodrigo and Rod Stewart.
Besides the four huge headliners, the fest featured epic slots from the likes of Charli xcx, The Prodigy, Alanis Morissette and Noah Kahan.
When is the next Glastonbury fallow year?
To protect the farmland, the festival previously had ‘fallow years’ every four to five years. Festival organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that the next fallow year will be 2026.
