The highlight of Time Out Market Barcelona is undoubtedly the food (and the drinks) but the market has a lot more to offer than just eating and drinking. Its two stages showcase the incredible talent of the city with live performances ranging from intimate concerts to drag shows, as well as DJ sessions and activities for kids. And, as with everything at the Market, it’s all carefully curated by the editorial team at Time Out Barcelona! You’ll find all the Market’s latest events, right here.

December

During this time of year, we gather with our loved ones and love passing the time with card games, dominoes or—best of all—bingo. Come do it at Time Out Market with the Christmas Quinto, energised by a hilarious actress on January 4 at 6 PM. The first release of 10 tickets is for free (with a drink included)! Book your spot here.

  • Nightlife
  • El Gòtic

Bingo Musical is taking place twice this December. On Saturday, 27, Pitita Queen is your main host, guiding you through the biggest hits of 2025; and on Tuesday, 30, Clover Bisch leads you with great rhythm all the way to the New Year’s countdown. Time Out Market Barcelona transforms into a stage of music, drag, and pure fun with these special editions of Musical Bingo. And when the bingo ends, the party continues—DJ Xexo takes over with a final set to keep you all dancing.

Did you enjoy the tapas crawl on Wednesdays? Wednesdays still taste better than ever at Time Out Market Barcelona. From 7.30 PM to 10.30 PM, the market transforms into a culinary tasting tour with the TastOut, where every kitchen serves a special bite for just €3. And what's more: there will always be a DJ making sure you have the proper setlist.

You asked and we’ve delivered: our birthday offer is now available until the end of the year! Celebrate your special day with your friends at Time Out Market Barcelona, and we’ll treat you to a birthday cocktail, a welcome drink for your guests (up to 10 people), and offer you a special group menu price at the market's restaurants.

Time Out Market is also dressing up for Christmas. And it’s not just filled with lights and festive décor—it's offering a carousel of free family activities on December 22 and 23, and on the morning just before the Epiphany Day, January 5.

Enjoy a Christmas Lantern or Three Kings Crown workshop, but also the Cagatió Ritual. And you can finish the activity with a delightfully festive treat: a cup of hot chocolate and a mini croissant from the sweet experts of the house, Café de Indias, for €3.50.

  • El Gòtic

Nieves is the new cocktail you can only taste at Time Out Market this month. The name evokes the festive season we’re in, but it’s also a heartfelt tribute from the Market’s bartender, Cristian Bell, to his mother.

The drink is a puzzle of Templeton Rye with spiced and citrus notes that make it surprisingly comforting.

Celebrate World Croquette Day at Time Out Market in the best possible way: by eating them! On January 15, 16, and 17, you’ll be able to enjoy 8 different interpretations of this traditional dish, prepared by renowned chefs and available for just €2.5 each. No reservation is needed—just come whenever hunger strikes and enjoy these little gems made fresh to order (perfect for lunch, dinner, or a snack in between).

Croquettes for everyone

Darvaza once again proves its mastery of fine frying with two high-level creations: one croquette made with dry-aged ribeye and caramelized piquillo pepper, and another featuring veal cheek, tender and intensely flavorful. Fran Lópezstays true to well-executed classics with a ham croquette that’s creamy on the inside, rich in flavor, and packed with generous chunks you can taste in every bite, while also adding a vegan escalivada option that is smooth, aromatic, and full of the character of roasted vegetables. Meanwhile, Can Ros moves between sea and forest, offering a croquette of squid and another of mushrooms, two versions that play with familiar textures and flavors, executed with great finesse.

The celebration also includes two recipes closely tied to Catalan tradition, reinterpreted in a crispy format: asparagus, served with white asparagus sauce, cream, and green asparagus crudité, and escudella, a traditional escudella velouté from Casa Amàlia transformed into a crunchy bite. This is a style of cooking designed especially for children, yet one that wins over all ages, focused on croquettes and easy-to-enjoy bites.

We know that cooking this bite of the gods properly is no easy task. So stop making croquettes at home and enjoy them in expert hands and a unique setting: Time Out Market is a design-driven space surrounded by the sea of Barcelona.
