Christmas calls for jazz, and we didn’t want to miss out on bringing that festive soundscape to the Market. That’s why, on December 19 at 8 PM, we’re inviting you to a free concert featuring two outstanding musicians who bring strings and wind together in unison: the piano in the hands of Lídia Facerías, and the voice and trumpet guided by Memi Sillah. You just need to reserve a spot here (and if you wish, you can add a drink for 5 euros).
The pianist from the traditional folk group Roba Estesa and the soul band Soundara Collective will let her fingers travel through jazz filigrees, joined by singer and trumpet player Sillah, who leads her own band and is used to sprinkling Jamaican rhythms over the harmonies of the American genre. A slightly more spiced and distinctive jazz concert that will brighten your evening as they move up and down between scales.
