You might know Chimichanga for its indulgent deep-fried burritos, but come September 27, the Mexican restaurant is switching gears to host Singapore’s very first Agave Festival – and also introducing a spirit you’ve probably never heard of.
Enter Cocuy: Venezuela’s lesser-known agave spirit, often dubbed as Venezuela’s tequila. Made from wild agave that’s smoked and distilled by hand, Cocuy is a rarity outside of South America – and it’s making its Asia debut right here. Only 60 bottles have been produced specially for this festival, so curious drinkers shouldn’t miss out on this opportunity.
