A complete guide to the seating plan at the Singapore National Stadium

A complete guide to the seating plan at the Singapore National Stadium

The Singapore National Stadium is easily one of the most sought-after concert venues in the city – and for good reason. Despite a variety of other venues available, this iconic stadium stands out with its massive 55,000-seat capacity and the accolade of being the largest dome in the world. Over the years, it has drawn a stellar line-up of international superstars including Harry Styles. Guns N’ Roses, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift,  thanks to its state-of-the-art sound system and well-designed space. With the significant sums of money spent on concert tickets, coupled with the chaos and stress of ticketing queues and limited availability, choosing the right seat becomes all the more important to make the most of the experience. Ticketing platforms typically release general seating plans, but the ideal spot depends largely on personal preferences. Some fans enjoy being on their feet in the standing pens, immersed in the energy of the crowd. Others may prefer a comfortable seat to enjoy the music with a full view of the stage. Some also opt for side-stage seats for a closer glimpse of the performers. To help make the decision easier, we’ve broken down the seating options based on the different types of concert-goers. Seating layouts can vary from show to show depending on stage design, so use this guide as a starting point when planning where to sit for the next big gig at the National Stadium. With a total of $50,000 worth of Canon gear up for grabs, the event draws in hundreds of participants each year. This year's theme, One Click, One Vibe, encouraged participants to explore the emotional and narrative potential of an image. Whether you've clicked on this article out of sheer curiosity or are seriously eyeing a prime piece of property, this newly listed bungalow along Dunearn Road, with a price tag of $60 million, deserves a closer look. Located at 436 Dunearn Road, this freehold estate sits atop a hill in the prestigious Bukit Timah area, offering privacy and seclusion as it is hidden from street view. The main residence is a two-storey home featuring a circular driveway and a single-storey annexe. And next to the annexe, you'll find a two-car garage and a covered car porch. The house is a five-minute walk to Tan Kah Kee MRT station, and a 15-minute stroll to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The area is also surrounded by top schools including Nanyang Girls' High School, Hwa Chong Institution, National Junior College and Methodist Girls' School. What makes this house extra special is its history. This charming home was once owned by the family behind Singapore's Green Bus Company – a name that might ring a bell for transport history buffs. The company was one of the few operators running small seven-seater motor buses around Singapore in the 1930s. In the early 1950s, the family acquired the Dunearn Road plot, completing renovations in 1953. Despite housing up to four generations at one point, the property has remained largely unchanged over the past 70 years. And here's a fun fact: Ng Teng Fong, the late property tycoon, lived just behind this man – and yes, the neighbours were friends. The prope

With a dynamic line-up of culinary experiences, street pop-ups, and immersive events happening across the island, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into. This year’s theme, Have You Eaten Yet?, takes inspiration from the familiar phrase typically heard in Asian households. It’s more than just a question – it’s a quiet expression of care and affection. There’s a new F1-grade race circuit in Johor Bahru with a professional karting course and off-road track

Motorsport fans, start your engines as a brand-new racing circuit is opening just 30 minutes from the Singapore-Malaysian Tuas checkpoint. The Sunway Circuit Iskandar Puteri is JB’s latest motorsport destination, built to world-class standards with ambitions to host major international racing events. The circuit is designed by renowned circuit architect Hermann Tilke, who is the same mastermind behind several iconic Formula 1 tracks. The main circuit stretches 4.5km, and adheres to the stringent FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A specifications. This means it's capable of accommodating the fastest and most prestigious races such as Formula 1 and MotoGP. Unlike Singapore’s Marina Bay Street Circuit, which is constructed and dismantled each year for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Sunway Circuit’s track is a permanent fixture.  Aside from the main track, Sunway Circuit Iskandar Puteri will also feature a 1.5km professional karting circuit, a hill climbing course, a 4×4 off-road adventure zone, and an advanced driving course for high-performance training and road safety education. Other facilities include international-standard pit buildings, paddocks, garages, media centres and VIP hospitality suites. The main circuit is already in place, with the entire facility slated for completion by the end of 2025.  READ MORE Collect adorable breakfast-themed plushies inspired by your favourite Singaporean foods There’s a colourful SG60-themed container display at Tanjong Pagar Terminal We tried S

All aboard: Catch these SG60-themed train cabins and buses before they’re gone

Noticed that some MRT cabins or buses look a little different lately? That’s because they’ve been decked out in special SG60-themed designs featuring iconic Singapore landmarks. To mark the country’s 60th birthday, the Land Transport Authority has teamed up with the National Day Parade 2025 Executive Committee, SBS Transit and SMRT to transform selected parts of our public transport system into moving tributes to Singapore. But not every train or bus gets this SG60 makeover, so keep your eyes peeled for these limited-edition rides. The decor sticks to the familiar red and white colour palette of the Singapore flag, with adorable illustrations of national icons like Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer, the Merlion and more. The train floors also mimic lush green fields dotted with colourful flowers, a nod to Singapore’s "City in a Garden" vision. You’ll spot these SG60-themed designs on selected MRT trains across all lines, and on bus services 43, 97, 117, 157, and 960. A handful of MRT stations, including Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Bukit Panjang, Dhoby Ghaut, Marine Parade, Punggol, Serangoon, and Woodlands, have also joined in the festivities, sporting similar SG60-themed decor and large wall murals that make great backdrops for snapping a few patriotic selfies. These decorations will be available from now till August 31, 2025. In the meantime, look out for the other SG60 decorations happening around Singapore, including the huge Lego mural at National Museum Singapore and colourf

Singapore turns 60 this year, and everyone’s pulling out all the stops – including PSA Singapore. To mark the nation’s diamond jubilee, the port operator has unveiled a limited-time installation at Tanjong Pagar Terminal, Singapore’s very first container port.  Made up of 271 containers from 14 different shipping lines, the striking visual installation spells out “PSA” and “SG” with a bold pink heart between them. The tribute was assembled over the course of 32 hours by PSA workers and measures an impressive 57 metres by 101 metres, towering 14.6 metres high. Photograph: PSA Singapore The installation will be lit up nightly from July 25 to August 13, casting a vibrant glow over Singapore’s historic port precinct. Beyond its Instagram-worthy appearance, the display is also a nod to Singapore’s rich maritime heritage, as well as PSA’s longstanding partnerships with stakeholders across the shipping and supply chain industries. This isn’t the first time PSA has celebrated a national milestone with a container display. In 2017, it earned a place in the Guinness World Record for Largest Shipping Container Image for its lion head installation made up of 359 containers, . To mark SG60, PSA will also host a charity walk and run on July 25 in support of social service agency Care Corner Singapore, alongside other celebratory initiatives. How can I see these containers? The SG60 container display will be lit up every evening from July 25 to August 13. While the Tanjong Pagar Termi
