Located right in the heart of Bugis with convenient access to Bugis MRT and over 400 uniquely designed rooms and suites

With street art, indie boutiques, and a mix of old-school kopitiams and modern cafés, Bugis has become one of Singapore’s most vibrant corners – and the newly opened Frasers House, formerly known as InterContinental Singapore, puts you right in the thick of it.
The hotel’s location is hard to beat. Located just a short stroll from Kampong Glam, Arab Street, and the Bras Basah Bugis arts district, along with convenient access to Bugis MRT, it is the perfect base for exploring the neighbourhood.
Born from a partnership between Frasers Hospitality and Marriott International, the 5-star hotel opened its doors on January 7, 2026. Now, under its new banner, the building is stepping into a more design-conscious, culturally attuned era.
Frasers House’s interiors draw on the building’s Peranakan-inspired heritage while layering in contemporary touches such as clean lines, artisanal details, and subtle nods to Bugis’ rich past. Once the full transformation is complete, the hotel will offer over 400 rooms and suites, each designed to reflect the spirit of the district.
And the hotel’s dining scene isn’t left out either. From trattoria Luce to Chinese restaurant Man Fu Yuan, outlets are being refreshed into renewed concepts with menus that focus on what makes each cuisine special.
The hotel’s event spaces will continue to impress as well with 1,000 sqm of upgraded flexible venues, including the grand ballroom and the Library, perfect for weddings, business meetings, and private gatherings. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor pool, fitness centre, and wellness facilities, offering a quiet retreat amid Bugis’ buzz.
While a phased transformation is set to gradually introduce refreshed interiors, dining concepts, and public spaces, Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore remains open to guests and is currently accepting reservations.
