Singapore’s pizza scene has scored another win. Anto Pizza e Aperitivi has climbed from 95th to 81st on the 50 Top Pizza World 2026 list, making it Singapore’s highest-ranked – and only – pizzeria to appear on the global ranking.
Born from the vision of cousins Antonio Brancato, a master pizzaiolo from Pignola, and internationally renowned bartender Giancarlo Mancino, Anto takes a contemporary approach to Neapolitan pizza while keeping its Italian roots firmly intact. Its dough is made with Molino Pasini flour from northern Italy and given a 24-hour proof, while fresh Italian tomatoes are hand-crushed and seasoned in-house for the sauce.
Anto has had a pretty busy year. Earlier this year, it landed at 15th place on the 50 Top Pizza Asia-Pacific 2026 list, retaining its position as Singapore’s highest-ranked pizzeria in the region for the second consecutive year. Now, as it celebrates its second birthday this September, it’s marking the occasion with what seems like the most appropriate gift of all: more pizza.
Anto’s new menu launches on October 4. It looks back at the restaurant’s two-year journey, bringing together some of its most representative pizzas alongside creations born from Antonio’s culinary collaborations across Asia.
One of them is the Origini, created during Anto’s residency at Hong Kong’s Fiata, which brings together Antonio’s Basilicata roots with Salvatore Fiata’s Campanian heritage. Two pizzas from a residency with Manila’s Amano – 4 Pepi and Bufala in 4 – will also make an appearance.
The line-up will also feature Anto signatures including Bottarga alla Scapece and Anatra Quasi all’Arancia, reflecting Antonio’s journey from southern Italy to Singapore and the influences he’s picked up along the way.
