Immerse yourself in a cultural experience while enjoying a breath of fresh floral air with Gardens by the Bay’s newest floral display: Pesona Anggerik: Truly Asia Orchids. Not to be confused with the ongoing Orchid Extravaganza – which sports a Peranakan theme a la Emerald Hill this year – this second orchid display sits within the Mediterranean Garden at GBTB’s Flower Dome as an ode to 60 years of ties between Singapore and Malaysia.

Over 600 jewel-toned orchids are abloom as part of Truly Asia Orchids, including species that are native to Malaysia. Along with that, explore life-sized models of intricate jendela (carved wooden windows) and serambi (verandah of a traditional Malay home).

Also on display are real artefacts and heritage items specially from various parts of Malaysia, including indigenous headwear, traditional clothing worn by the Orang Ulu from Sarawak, and ceremonial items crafted out of leaves and bamboo. You’ll also spot familiar toys like congkak and sepak takraw balls.

TIME OUT TIP To get the best of both worlds, visit the Flower Dome by August 31 before Orchid Extravaganza ends – that way you’ll get to enjoy both showcases with a single entry ticket.
Pesona Anggerik: Truly Asia Orchids is now open at Gardens by the Bay till September 7, 2025. Entry starts from $12 for Singaporean adults. Find out more and get your tickets here.
