There’s more to Jewel Changi Airport than just the Canopy Park and the iconic Rain Vortex waterfall. Beyond the lush greenery and striking architecture, there’s serious shopping to be done and a wide range of international cuisines to indulge in. Adding to its ever-growing line-up is a fresh wave of new restaurants and retail outlets that have opened their doors this July.
First up is the debut of Gwangjang Gaon, a well-loved Korean restaurant, now with its first overseas outlet right here at Jewel Changi Airport. If you've dined at its outlets in Korea, you’ll know there’s always a queue for crowd favourites like the Gaon Galbi, samgyetang, kimchi jjigae, and bibimbap. At the helm of the restaurant is Hyo Soon Park, who clinched the prestigious Seoul Blue Ribbon Award this year.
Joining the line-up is Swiss sportswear brand On, debuting its first Singapore store. The two-storey flagship carries everything from footwear and apparel to accessories, and you can also find bestsellers like the Cloudmonster and Cloudrunner here.
And if you're into the blind box craze, keep an eye out for the upcoming Pop Play Planet Café. This quirky café will offer a curated selection of designer collectibles, alongside premium coffee and delectable desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Other new store openings at Jewel Changi Airport include Kate Spade, Solace Studios, Brazil Kitchen, Cha Mulan, Mngata G, Llao Llao and Subway. Time to pencil in another visit to the east, if you're not there already.
