Fico is getting a little more sand and sun this September. The Italian restaurant is opening a second home at Tanjong Beach Club on September 28, bringing its Puglian seaside vibe from one stretch of Singapore’s coast to another.

Birthed from a collaboration between chef-partner Mirko Febbrile and The Lo & Behold Group, Fico first landed at East Coast Park in 2023 with its take on cucina povera – the Italian approach of turning simple, humble ingredients into food worth gathering around a table for. It picked up a Michelin Bib Gourmand within its first year and has held onto the accolade since, but the bigger draw has always been its anything-goes approach to eating, drinking and taking your sweet time about it.

At Tanjong Beach Club, Fico gets a seaside makeover, retaining its convivial spirit while taking design cues from its coastal setting. The result is a more relaxed, sun-soaked space that feels right at home by the water.

A coastal grill will take centre stage, with cooking over flames bringing a little char and smoke to fresh seafood and other ingredients. Expect a lighter spread built around fresh catches, bright coastal flavours and aperitivo.

The full menu and drinks line-up have yet to be revealed, so you’ll have to wait a little longer for the specifics. But if the original Fico is anything to go by, expect plenty of Italian generosity, easy drinking and loads of sharing plates.

Fico at Tanjong Beach Club opens on September 28, 2026. Reservations can be made by calling +65 9750 5323 or emailing [email protected].
