Want to witness the voice behind some of Disney’s most iconic characters live? Here’s some good news – Filipino actress and vocal legend Lea Salonga, the voice behind beloved films like Aladdin and Mulan, is finally returning to Singapore after more than a decade away to perform at the Esplanade Theatre this March.

Lea will be joined by her band and a string ensemble from the Singapore Lyric Opera Chamber Orchestra. Her concert Stage, Screen & Everything In Between will bring you the greatest hits of her career: songs from Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, Aladdin, Mulan, and Old Friends, alongside Broadway classics and pop favourites sprinkled in for good measure.

For those who need a refresher, Lea Salonga is a Tony Award-winning singer best known for her lead role in Miss Saigon, breaking Broadway barriers as the first Asian Eponine in Les Misérables, and later returning as Fantine in the 2006 revival. She’s also the singing voice behind Disney favourites Princess Jasmine (Aladdin) and Fa Mulan (Mulan and Mulan II), earning her the official title of ‘Disney Legend’. And if you thought she was done surprising us, she recently lent her voice to the character Celine in Netflix’s latest hit, K-Pop Demon Hunters.

The concert runs from March 20 to 22 at the Esplanade Theatre, with evening shows on March 20 and 21, plus both a matinee and evening performance on March 22. Each show clocks in at around two hours, intermission included. Tickets are available for purchase here, priced from $60 to $210, with various specials available.
