Festivals come in all glittering shapes and brilliant sizes across Europe, from remote islands in the Atlantic Ocean to big city parties. And now, you can add an ancient Greek temple to the mix.

Set to take place near Castellammare del Golfo (which translates to ‘sea fortress on the gulf’), a town in northern SicilyAura Festival has been described by organisers as ‘an intimate electronic escape with a focus on high-quality production, carefully curated sound and scenic immersion.’

What that means in reality is two days of music blaring from the gorgeous Parco Archologico di Segesta, which is nestled in the hills near Castellammare del Golfo.

The site is home to ancient Greek structures like a grand theatre and the Doric Temple of Segesta, which are both surrounded by sweeping, sun-baked countryside views. Sounds like an idyllic alternative to a dusty old field, right?

As for the line-up, confirmed so far is a collection of cult performers and emerging talents from across the house and tech music scene, including the likes of Francesco Del Garda, Oshana, Onur Özer, Quest, and Josh Baker.

Aura Festival will take place on May 1 and 2, 2026, and has a capacity of just 4,000 people.  You can find all the latest information on the official website, and cop your tickets from TicketSms
