1. Supergirl (HBO Max)
James Gunn’s Superman successfully relaunched the DCU in 2025, but what really matters is the followthrough. If that’s the case, well… woof. The second movie in the franchise bombed pretty hard. But hey, there’s always the streaming second-life. This one has House of the Dragon’s Milly Alcock slipping into the spandex as Kal-El’s cousin, Kara Zor-El, best known as Supergirl, whose experience with seeing her home planet destroyed has left her just a wee bit surly and jaded. 2. Call My Agent! The Movie (Netflix)
Six years after closing up shop, the much-loved French comedy series, set in a Parisian talent agency, returns, with Camille Cottin reprising her role as ex-agent Andréa Martel, now an aspiring director scrambling to replace the lead actor in her debut feature. Think of it like The Studio only more, well, French.

3. Mārama (Shudder)
Director Taratoa Stappard draws on his sides of his half-Maori, half-British heritage for this spellbinding gothic horror story. In the mid-1800s, a young orphan (Ariāna Osborne) travels from New Zealand to Yorkshire to learn about her birth parents, and finds that some things are better left undiscovered.

4. Why Did I Get Married Again? (Netflix)
Tyler Perry reunites the squabbling couples from 2007’s Why Did I Get Married? and 2010’s Why Did I Get Married Too? at a destination wedding in Italy. Maybe we’ll finally get an answer in this one. Our money’s on tax breaks.

5. In the Grey (Starz)
Guy Ritchie can’t stop, won’t stop… but maybe he should consider slowing down, at least. After last year’s streaming flop Fountain of Youth, he’s back with yet another completely disposable action-thriller that came and went from theaters without a trace. Jake Gyllenhaal, Henry Cavill and Eiza Gonzalez are covert operatives working to recover a massive sum of cash from a criminal organization.
