Just one Canadian hotel made Time Out editors’ list of the world’s most beautiful hotels—find out which Canadian property made the cut.

The world’s most beautiful hotels according to Time Out editors have been revealed, and only one Canadian spot made the list.
At Time Out, we love all kinds of hotels, from flashy five-stars and cool boutiques to clever budget stays. But some are simply more beautiful than others. Whether your idea of beauty is a jungle lodge, eco-friendly city stay, kitschy motel or restored royal residence, you’ll find it here.
Of course, beauty is subjective, and this list isn’t exhaustive. What we can offer is first-hand experience: every hotel has been visited by a Time Out editor, writer or hotel expert. From Punjab to Palermo, each one delivers serious wow factor and a memorable stay.

According to Time Out, the hotels are ranked as follows:
Step into Gatsby’s world at this 1920s-inspired Art Deco hotel from Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio.
Designed by Canadian talents Architex Group, Provencher Roy and Atelier Zébulon Perron, the hotel is a lavish celebration of old-school glamour, with sweeping curved staircases, jaw-dropping chandeliers and luxurious honey-and-rose details woven throughout—a nod to its namesake.
Inside the Honeyrose Hotel, Montreal, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel—located in the heart of downtown Montreal's Quartier des Spectacles cultural district (just a few blocks from Time Out Market Montréal and the Montreal Eaton Centre)—it’s all velvet, gold and honey-toned wood to create a rich, cinematic feel.
Illuminated hidden coves and layered lighting add an air of mystery. And hallways evoke flower-filled fields, and even the rooftop comes complete with its own beehives.
Guestrooms feature works by Montreal artist Roxy Peroxyde, while original pieces by set designer Juliette Sarrazin and other local artists are displayed throughout the property.
While Art Deco sets the tone, the golden glamour takes a decidedly tropical turn at Muze Lounge & Terrasse, the hotel’s hidden rooftop bar.
