Susan Moss wasn’t simply a concert photographer—she was one of the people who helped define how Montreal’s music scene, and the city itself, looked.

For decades, camera in hand, Moss captured the artists, festivals, clubs, crowds and wonderfully chaotic moments that made the city’s music culture so distinctive. From international superstars like Prince and Dave Grohl to Montreal’s local musicians and emerging talent, her photographs turned fleeting moments into a visual record of the city.
