University of Miami is in the game, and the party will be on South Beach.

Miami is hosting the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship, and this year's matchup is even hotter given that the Miami Hurricanes just secured a spot to play in their hometown by besting Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl. While their opponent won't be determined until the Peach Bowl is played on January 9, the party spot has already been set.
The game will take place on Monday, January 19, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens (the home of the Hurricanes), but the real warm-up starts days earlier, far beyond the stadium gates. One of the biggest highlights of the weekend is AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!, a free, two-night concert series taking over Lummus Park on South Beach on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18.
Saturday's lineup features none other than Calvin Harris, the Scottish DJ and producer whose run of hits include "Summer" and "This Is What You Came For." He'll be joined by Chicago house star John Summit. The two heavyweight DJs will be preceded by Xandra, a University of Miami alum who’s built a name as both a DJ and a model.
On Sunday, the music shifts to Latin vibes. Peso Pluma, the Mexican singer and rapper who blends corridos, trap and pop, headlines with his first Miami performance since canceling a show at Kaseya Center last summer. Also on the bill are Latin Mafia and Greeicy.
Doors open at 6pm each night. There are no tickets, just free entry on a first-come, first-served basis. So make plans to get their early to check out the soundtrack to Miami's championship weekend.
