Get ready for a whole new take on the classic love story, Miami. The Adrienne Arsht Center is rolling out the pink carpet for the South Florida premiere of & Juliet for a short, high-energy run from December 30 through January 4, 2026. Tickets are available here.
In case you’re not familiar with the Broadway hit, here’s the quick rundown: the musical takes Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and flips it on its head by asking a simple question—what if Juliet said “no thanks” to that heartbreaking ending? Instead of joining Romeo in their doomed finale, Juliet grabs a pen, rewrites her own fate and heads off on a brand new adventure. The result is one of Broadway’s liveliest shows, blending comedy, empowerment and the energy of a full-on pop concert.
The show is packed with hits from the last three decades, all crafted by Max Martin, the genius behind a slew of number one pop songs. Expect to sing along to Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time" and Katy Perry’s "Roar," the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way" and "Can’t Stop the Feeling!" of Trolls fame.
The soundtrack is complemented by sharp choreography, neon-bright visuals and a story that never takes itself too seriously. Created by the Emmy-winning writer of Schitt’s Creek, the musical is all about the joy of starting over on your own terms. Since its 2019 debut, & Juliet has taken off around the globe, picking up Olivier Awards in London, shattering records in Toronto and consistently packing theaters on Broadway.
The Arsht Center is celebrating two decades of bringing Broadway to South Florida, and adding & Juliet to the lineup is a bold finale to the season. It's a show for fans of musicals and anyone who wants to spend a night out filled with songs they know by heart.
