Social calendar looking a bit empty? Don't worry, we've got you. There's always something happening in Melbourne, and this week is no different – so let's dive right in!
The arrival of spring means an abundance of floral-themed celebrations. There's the Tesselaar Tulip Festival, which is now in its 70th year and features more than one million flowers. Or you can hit the road for Bendigo Bloom, which boasts more than 100 activations – including a breathtaking tulip display. Birrarung Riverfest also continues, with a line-up of environmentally-friendly events that champion the importance of our city's most prominent waterway.
Fringe Festival may still be a few weeks away, but the Fringe Flavours Night Market kicks off on Wednesday at Queen Vic Market. You can expect street food galore with a side of cabaret, comedy, burlesque artists, bands, DJs and more. Still hungry? Don't miss High Cheese at the Westin, where you can gorge on three tiers of cheese-filled sweet and savoury treats.
