Is it really Sunday Funday if all you’re doing is sitting at home and doom-scrolling through your phone? Enough with the rotting in bed – put on your walking shoes instead and give the weekend a proper send-off at Green Sunday by the Bay, a celebration of all things sustainability, wellness, and community. Best of all, pets are welcome!
Held at The Repulse Bay on August 24, this event will feature a lively schedule of expert-led yoga classes in partnership with Pure Yoga and The Yoga Room, hands-on workshops, as well as a farmer’s market, so you can pick up fresh ingredients and goods sourced from local producers for that nutritious post-workout meal.
Starting from 1pm, Pure Yoga will offer two classes – one focused on relaxing stretching and the other suitable for kids and families. Kaman Yip will lead a sound-bathing session at 3pm, followed by a Silent Disco Inside Flow by The Yoga Room at 4pm.

For those who prefer getting their hands dirty, there’s a Gok3Choco workshop all about working with organic raw chocolate and local dried fruits. Grow Something will teach visitors about tabletop farming and herb salt grinding in two different classes, and there’s even a workshop on herbal incense stamping towards the end of the day. Pre-registration is required for workshops, yoga sessions, and wellness classes.
A diverse group of farmers and producers will set up shop at the Green Sunday by the Bay farmer’s market, supported by Ocean Park’s Mission R. Browse through fresh produce, artisanal goodies, and eco-friendly items from brands and businesses such as Farmacy HK, Sampo Tree Organic Farm, Lai Organic Farm, Soup4Health, and more – and learn about the importance of sustainability while you’re at it. Admission to this Sunday event is free, so there’s no excuse not to see you there!
