North America’s No. 1 bar is coming to Chicago for a Four Seasons residency starting next week

The New York City bar just named number one on the 2026 North America’s 50 Best Bars list is coming to Chicago. You can get a taste of the top-rated cocktail program as Sip & Guzzle hosts an exclusive residency at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago's Mile High Cocktail Club. This rare chance to check out one of Manhattan's boldest cocktail experiences without leaving the Windy City will arrive on October 15 and run through March 14.

Founded by industry legends Steve Schneider and Shingo Gokan alongside operating partner Justin Weitz, Sip & Guzzle blends the energy of Tokyo izakaya culture with the warmth of classic New York hospitality. The concept’s charm lies in its split personality. Downstairs at "Sip," technique-driven mixology takes center stage, highlighting intricate craft, precision and inventive flavor profiles. Upstairs at "Guzzle," classic and familiar favorites are playfully reimagined into vibrant, accessible drinks designed for pure enjoyment.

For the Chicago pop-up, guests will get to explore both sides of this award-winning program. Available every Thursday through Sunday from 5pm to 10pm, the experience is priced at $85 per person and includes a selection of two curated drinks from a rotating menu. You can choose from meticulous, flavor-forward "Sips"—including Drunk Grandma's Apple Pie, the Dirty Mango and the Tomato Tree—or indulge in the approachable, high-energy "Guzzles," featuring twists on classics like the Mint 75, Rum & Cola and Miami Vice Negroni.

To complete the immersive night out, Executive Chef Isaac Leidenfrost has crafted a menu of bar bites designed to pair seamlessly with the drink lineup, matching the complexity and fun of the cocktail offerings.
