Hungarian comedy Be My Dad screens at TK Park as part of the 2026 Contemporary World Film Series. Barna Keserű , a writer and former university professor, has 10 days to finish his new novel when his ex-girlfriend arrives with seven-year-old Samu and says the boy is his son. She leaves Barna to look after him while she works abroad, adding bedtime stories and unfamiliar parenting duties to an already pressing deadline. Samu’s constant requests for stories, however, gradually get the writer working again. Hungary’s ambassador, HE Szilvia Szalóki, introduces the film before a reception hosted by the Embassy of Hungary.
