Melody of Life 17 returns to centralwOrld this October with three days of free live music. More than 100 artists will rotate across the festival’s stages from daytime into the evening, making it an easy place to meet friends, catch a set, grab a bite and soak up the atmosphere. Previous editions have included a Music Market stocked by artists and designers, with DJs soundtracking the browse.  Choose a stage to suit your mood. The Outdoor Stage handles the biggest crowd-moving sets; the Indoor Stage is more laid-back. The Indy Stage spotlights independent musicians across genres, while the Idol Stage is aimed squarely at T-POP fans.  This year’s line-up includes Slot Machine, Tilly Birds, F.HERO, Lomosonic, No One Else, The Parkinson, MVL, MEYOU, and Whal & Dolph, with plenty more across the three-day programme. It is a broad enough bill to reward some wandering rather than camping at one stage all day. There is room for newer names too. Special guest Meilee Tal brings a pop set built around vocals, choreography and visuals, with five original songs that she wrote and produced herself. The songs draw on Meilee’s own stories and experiences, giving the set a more personal angle than a straightforward showcase. Speaking about the festival, Meilee said: ‘I’m very excited and honoured to be invited to perform at Melody Of Life. For me, performing my own songs is especially meaningful because each song represents something personal. I want people to be able to connect with the music and understand a little more about who I am as an artist.’ ‘I love dancing, choreography, visuals and creating a show. My goal is to bring all of those things together so people aren’t only hearing my songs, they’re experiencing the world I want to create around them.’ Melody Of Life 17 is also opening another space for the next generation of musicians through SPAWN STAGE 2026, a competition for secondary-school and university categories, with students invited to submit their work and put their live skills to the test. You know Idris Elba from Luther, from The Wire, maybe from lending his voice to a cartoon animal or two. What you might not know is that he spends a serious chunk of the year behind the decks, and on Saturday September 26 he brings that side of himself to Cloud 11 Theatre. The show is Sound International, a house night run by Asia-based music agency Collective Minds, and doors open from 7.45pm. Elba plays it billed simply as ‘IDRIS’, the name behind a CV that takes in Ibiza institutions Pacha, Pikes and Hï, plus slots at Glastonbury and Coachella.  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sound International (@sound.intl)   He doesn’t play alone, either. Sharing the booth are Wildealer and Elaheh, two of the artists pushing Bangkok’s house scene forward right now, and both turn up with their own version of the genre. If you’ve spent any late nights in the city’s clubs over the past couple of years, you’ve probably danced to one of them already. Sound International runs on an idea it calls ‘Never-ending House’, which means festival-grade sound stitched together with whatever the room happens to be dancing to. You already know the hook, even if the name draws a blank. ‘Incredible’, the 1994 track General Levy records with producer M-Beat, is the first jungle tune to break the UK top 10, peaking at number eight and hanging around the charts for 12 weeks. Three decades on, it still empties the bar and packs the floor. Now the man himself comes to Bangkok, again. General Levy plays BLOQ on October 2, the Thai date on his Incredible Asia Tour, which also stops in Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam and Bali. He grows up in Park Royal, west London, on reggae, ska and sound system culture, works the mic from his teens and builds a name toasting over dancehall long before jungle comes calling. That crossover moment costs him, though. After ‘Incredible’ takes off and Levy tells The Face he ‘runs jungle’, a committee of scene DJs effectively freezes him out, and the story only gets better in the retelling. These days the grudge is ancient history and the track is a rave staple, wheeled up worldwide. So what does a night with him look like? Quickfire toasting, a rig turned right up and a room that knows every word. Just one catch. General admission tickets for the Bangkok show are not live on local platforms yet, so keep an eye here and we’ll flag it the second they drop.  

Bad news, Bangkok Posties. Live Nation Tero confirms that Post Malone Presents THE BIG ASS Stadium World Tour, booked for September 22 at Rajamangala National Stadium, is postponed indefinitely.  The good news, if you can call it that, is that everyone who bought a ticket gets their money back. Paid by debit or credit card? The refund goes in your account automatically. Used another payment method? You put in a request between August 29 and October 31, during normal business hours, either on the website or at any of the 11 main ThaiTicketMajor branches around town. Worth a diary note so the window doesn't slip past you. It's not just Thailand, either. Post Malone postpones dates right across Asia and Oceania, and a few festivals on the same run are off or delayed too. For now, we wait and see whether any of these dates return at all. We'll keep this page updated the moment we hear anything new, so check back before you give up on the gig entirely.

Bruno Mars just made Bangkok’'s April 2027 calendar much more interesting. The Romantic Tour – which has already broken Ticketmaster’s single-day sales record – is coming to Rajamangala National Stadium on April 24 and 25. The two Bangkok concerts are part of a new 26-date expansion spanning Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Mexico City. If you have been keeping tabs on Thai electronic pop band KIKI, you already know how big this year is for them. Fresh from landing a slot at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival on July 26, the group adds another major booking to the calendar, the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026. It runs at night, under floodlights, with the cars threading past the skyscrapers and hotels around Marina Bay. The weekend also comes with a serious music programme, spread across several stages inside the circuit park. Once the track action wraps for the evening, ticket holders move between the grandstands and the stages, drinks in hand, the heat still hanging about long after dark. This year the bill includes Lana Del Rey, The Killers, Janet Jackson, JJ Lin, Mark Ronson and DJ Snake, with more names still to land. It marks a proper milestone for a band still fairly early in their run, and another sign of a new generation of artists from Thailand reaching listeners a long way from home. From a festival field in the Japanese mountains to the streets of Singapore a few months later.  The Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026 takes place from October 9-11, and KIKI play on October 10.

If December 26 was already blocked out in your calendar for a big night at Supachalasai Stadium, take a breath, because we've got some genuinely sad news to pass on. Fujii Kaze's Prema World Tour in Bangkok, set for December 26, right in the middle of the holiday break, is off. The performance has been cancelled due to an unexpected issue, and the organisers haven't said exactly what went wrong. Plenty of you had been counting down since the day tickets dropped. The tour follows Prema, the Japanese singer's first English-language album and his third full-length record. It's the one that wins him fans well past Japan and right across Asia, so the letdown here lands hard. Either way, the much-loved American pop-rock band comes back to the city on February 9, 2027 at Impact Arena, marking Adam Levine's eighth visit. He comes fresh off his debut full-length record, 'stay with the ocean, i'll find you', released in 2025. It carries everything people love about him – warm, unhurried and full of feeling, the kind of easy-listening indie pop you put on while you're making coffee or winding down before bed. The album runs a little over a dozen tracks, and most of them read like quiet confessions.
