Life moves pretty quickly, and it’s easy to miss the little things when you’re rushing from one place to the next. In THE PAUSE, Japanese artist Wataru Kimura turns his attention to everyday scenes and the emotions that often go unnoticed. His pop-style paintings feature human-like characters with expressive faces, capturing small moments that invite a closer look at how we spend our days. Born in 1996 and based in Chiba Prefecture, Kimura is also known for his LOST BOYS series, which explores human emotions through playful, character-driven imagery.
