Atom Pavarit’s Can You Hear the Light Changing Along the Ride? looks at how different kinds of light can bring back particular memories. Drawing from songs, conversations and ordinary moments, the solo exhibition moves between warm sunlight, familiar from home, moonlight associated with someone special and the neon glow of city streets after dark. Each painting starts with the artist’s own experiences, but the memories are left open for viewers to interpret. You might recognise a particular colour from a late-night journey, a room at home or a song playing quietly in the background.
