Gather the larb people at Labkrung Social Club
At this Sathon clubhouse, som tam, larb and koi are taken seriously, though the mood is anything but solemn. The owner’s love of cooking Isaan food grew into two branches, and the Chan Road spot makes a strong case for sticky rice alongside koi suea khua and punchy tam puu pla ra. There’s also a Melbourne-style steak made with marinated, grilled beef striploin. Order a chilled chrysanthemum tea, settle into the after-work chatter and leave room for another plate; prices are friendly.
