Turn up the heat at Dao Rung
Dao Rung wears its Sakon Nakhon influences all over its Sathon Soi 12 space. Luk thung-pop graphics and beauty-pageant glamour sit alongside bamboo fish traps, rows of sato bottles and a glass kitchen where crispy-skinned clay-pot chicken roasts in view. The food has the same bold streak: som tam Dao Rung comes with soft khanom jeen to soak up the pla ra, while juicy suea rong hai works especially well with sato. The zesty larb moo is another good call.
