Ever get that Sunday-night feeling that you're just going through the motions, waiting for something to click? You're not the only one, and House of Films reckons the right film makes brilliant company for it.
The crew is back with a fresh season under the name 'Somewhere to Belong'. Five films across three nights, each one circling loneliness, love and the restless search for whatever it is we're all missing. Some characters drift through everyday routines, some tangle themselves in relationships they can't quite read and a few give it all up to chase the meaning of life across mountains, motels and deserted islands.
Here's what's on:
American Beauty (1999)

A middle-aged bloke, bored stiff by his marriage and his job, jolts back to life the moment a teenage girl has him questioning everything he's settled for.
Into the Wild (2007)
August 22 at 6.30pm
A young man walks away from money, safety and every possession to his name, then sets off alone to seek freedom and meaning out in the wild.
Bridget Jones's Diary (2001)
August 22 at 9.30pm
A thirty-something singleton starts a diary and vows to sort herself out, from her career to her love life to a little more faith in herself along the way.
Cast Away (2000)
August 23 at 8.50pm
A shipping company worker survives a plane crash and washes up on a deserted island, where simply staying alive becomes a daily test of patience and nerve.
Up in the Air (2009)

A frequent flyer who fires people for a living finds his own tidy routine under threat when his firm rethinks the way it all works.
