A rare chance to see early sculptures by Professor Silpa Bhirasri arrives with The Spirit of Sculptors, which brings together works he created in Italy before moving to Thailand. Most come from private collections and have never been shown to Thai audiences, making offering a useful look at the artist’s early years. His work appears alongside sculptures by master artist Vachara Prayoonkum and younger artist Wayuphat Rattanaphet, whose practices draw from Thai art traditions. Across three generations, the exhibition traces how Silpa’s influence continues to shape Thai sculpture.
