Score one-way flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to heaps of Southeast Asian hotspots

For less than the price of a fancy dinner and a round of cocktails in the city, you could be boarding a flight to Asia. Scoot has just launched an ‘Everywhere Sale’, offering super cheap fares to Southeast Asian hotspots from just $165. From favourite Aussie holiday spots like Phuket, Osaka and Seoul to hidden gems like Fuzhou, Belitung and Labuan Bajo, the list of destinations on offer is massive.
The sale runs until Sunday, September 20, covering travel out of Sydney, Melbourne and Perth between October and November 2026, then again from January to August 2027 (blackout periods apply).
So, where can you go? The cheapest one-way fare is from Perth to Singapore ($165), with bargain flights to the Garden City also running out of Melbourne ($215) and Sydney ($235). For less than $300, you can also fly to major hotspots like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Ho Chi Minh City, Denpasar and Manila.
Beyond these familiar destinations, Scoot is also offering cheap fares to lesser-known cities, including Amritsar and Coimbatore in India (from $280), Kota Bharu and Kuantan in Malaysia (from $185), Pekanbaru (from $215) and Semarang (from $235) in Indonesia, and its newest destination, Guiyang in China (from $280).
