Cooper Alan’s acoustic set gets a better backdrop than any club could offer: three hours on the Potomac, with dinner, drinks and the DC skyline unfolding around you. The stripped-down format is the point here. Alan’s familiar songs get a more intimate treatment, making this a good pick for fans who would rather hear the music up close than spend an evening in a packed concert hall. The boat departs Pier 4 at 5pm, so the timing also makes sense for a Sunday night, with a buffet dinner and onboard DJ filling out the experience. VIP upgrades add early boarding, priority seating and a meet-and-greet. For anyone who knows Alan from his country hits and wants a different way to hear them, this is a refreshingly compact night out, with the river doing plenty of the scene-setting.
