UNO fans, don’t throw down the reverse card quite yet. Despite unfounded rumors that UNO would become part of Las Vegas casinos, you can still play the beloved card game with others across the country, as UNO rolls out its social clubs across America.

The announcement came on the official UNO Instagram account (yes, the game has its own Instagram, who knew?). While putting to rest rumors that UNO was now available on Vegas casino floors, the post clarified that it was a pop-up experience called the UNO Social Club and that it would soon be going national.

“A rumor has come to our attention that there will be UNO tables on the casino floors in Las Vegas. Sounds wild, huh? We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the casino floor isn’t ready for us yet,” UNO wrote in the post. “While we get this sorted out, the UNO Social Club is rolling out to bars in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, and Austin this August.”

Expect plenty of specialty decks like UNO Golf, a dedicated personal card shuffler, and UNO-themed cocktails like the "Shuffle Spritz" and the "One More Round Espresso Martini". In addition to the classic UNO card game, the Las Vegas experience included bowling, pool and UNO-themed decor, whatever that might be.

“We created UNO Social Clubs to reimagine what game night can be—bringing people together for real-world fun, connection, and a bit of friendly competition,” Ray Adler, Mattel’s vice president and global head of games, said in a statement. “The UNO Social Club in Las Vegas is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see how these new experiences inspire players to show up, play hard, and make unforgettable memories.”

No word yet on what bars or venues the UNO Social Club will take over in each city, or how much of the Las Vegas experience will be included. But this gets us thinking about what other games we’d love to play while sipping cocktails and making new friends. Rummikub? Phase 10? Skip-Bo? But no Sorry! That’s dangerous enough to play with the people we love.
