Good news, Anglophiles: Some of the best A24 shows from the U.K. are on the way to Paramount+ this fall. (Yes, though it's better known as an indie film studio and awards-season powerhouse, A24 is also behind some of TV's biggest shows, including Euphoria, Beef, Ramy and the upcoming Friday the 13th prequel Crystal Lake.)

The streamer just announced that it finally has rights for not one, not two but three British TV imports from A24: It Gets Worse, Major Players and The Ministry of Time.

The much-anticipated BBC fantasy series, The Ministry of Time, adapts the 2024 New York Times best-selling book and Hugo Award Finalist by Kaliane Bradley. It stars Aoife Hinds (Normal People, Dune: Prophecy) and Billy Howle (The Perfect Couple, Under the Banner of Heaven) in a new government department that conducts time travel experiments on expats from across history, including Commander Gore (Howle), an officer on Sir John Franklin’s doomed 1845 Arctic expedition. Gore and Sophy end up falling into an intense and forbidden romance together. It’ll be released as a six-part series.

It Gets Worse came out in February 2025 and follows three young people start questioning their humiliating jobs and non-existent love lives. It stars Emily Fairn, Olive Gray, Sean Delaney, Dane Williams, India Mullen and John Tothill, with Andrew Scott, Lena Dunham and Amelia Dimoldenberg guest starring. It’ll be on Showtime via Paramount+.

Finally, Major Players is about two young women who start a women’s football (soccer) team that is a love letter to the sport as well as what it’s like to be young in London these days. It’s directed by Molly Manning Walker (How to Have Sex) and Yasmin Joseph (A Thousand Blows).

All three shows will reportedly be available to stream on Paramount+ starting in November this year.
