Didn't catch it in IMAX? The epic just set its at-home streaming date.

This year's biggest blockbuster is journeying to the small screen very soon.
We now officially have a digital release date for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which premiered in theaters to much fanfare back in July. Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the sprawling Grecian saga at home.
RECOMMENDED: All the U.S. cinemas where you can watch ‘The Odyssey’ in 70mm IMAX
Starting Tuesday, November 17, you'll be able to rent and purchase The Odyssey on video-on-demand platforms (such as Apple TV, Fandango at Home and Prime Video). You'll also be able to buy the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray edition on Amazon that same day.
As for subscription-based streaming, The Odyssey is expected to eventually stream on Peacock, as it is a Universal Pictures property. An exact release date has not been announced yet, however, though the action-fantasy is expected to drop sometime in winter 2027.
The three-hour epic, which made a cool $1.3 billion worldwide as Nolan's highest-grossing film, follows Homer's Odysseus on his voyage back to Ithaca after the Trojan War as he meets creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens and Calypso along the way. The star-studded cast includes Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong'o and Zendaya.

Time Out's Film Editor Phil de Semlyen gave the film five stars upon its theatrical release, saying it's "Nolan at his most formidable." (It's got a 94% critical score and a 97% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, if you need further proof of its acclaim.) And although it was meant to be seen in IMAX, De Semlyen says it's still breathtaking in standard 70mm. On the small screen? You may miss its sheer epicness, but at least you won't be spending $40 on a single ticket!
