Here's everything we know about Disney Believe.

Disney Cruise Line has a new ship on the way, and bookings open next week. The Disney Believe will set sail on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The Believe is the fourth and final ship in Disney’s Wish class, following the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. It will feature new venues and entertainment inspired by Disney films, including Encanto, Frozen, Moana, Zootopia, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and The Little Mermaid alongside existing favorites from other ships in the fleet.

Disney unveiled details about the ship on October 7 during a stage show broadcast from aboard the Disney Wish. Here’s what we know so far.
The Believe will sail four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Itineraries will include stops at Disney’s two private destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Port Everglades is familiar territory for Disney. The line began sailing year-round from Fort Lauderdale in November 2023, and the Disney Destiny sails from the same port. For travelers flying in, the port sits near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Every Wish-class ship centers on a Grand Hall, the main atrium guests see first upon boarding. The Believe’s Grand Hall draws on Moana and its Pacific Islands setting with a bronze statue of Moana standing at the center, alongside her companions Pua and Heihei. Ocean-colored carpet covers the floor, constellations dot the ceiling, and the railings borrow patterns from Moana’s skirt. Overhead, a chandelier will mimic the sea's movement, with the heart of Te Fiti sitting inside it.
The headline restaurant is Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, which tells a new chapter of the Frozen story in the courtyard of a Scandinavian summer house deep in the forest. Guests join Oaken, the lovable, goofy trading-post owner, and his cousins for a family feast. Diners can sing along to reimagined versions of Frozen songs, while Anna and Kristoff stop by during the meal.
Two Wish-class family restaurants return: 1923 and Worlds of Marvel. Adults can book Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement for upscale dinners at an additional cost. On the upper deck, Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods will introduce Pluto’s Pita Platters, a new stall serving Mediterranean-inspired fare similar to the gyros and shawarma offered aboard the Disney Wonder.
Two new cafes off the Grand Hall will serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Big Hero Sips draws on San Fransokyo, the city in Big Hero 6. Café Kakamora takes its theme from the Kakamora, the coconut-armored pirates in Moana.
Inside Out: Joyful Sweets returns with new sculptures from Inside Out 2, including Anxiety and Envy. The shop will offer about 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream, plus new Emotion-themed treats, like an Anger cupcake with red velvet cake and cinnamon buttercream.
The Believe will debut three new lounges. Just off the Grand Hall, Sea Notes is a piano bar inspired by Ariel’s grotto in The Little Mermaid, with a pearlescent piano at its center. Its signature Sea Salt Martini combines sea salt vodka, bergamot liqueur, and cucumber juice, topped with salted coconut foam and served in a seashell-shaped glass. The nonalcoholic Under the Seaweed uses a tequila alternative and coconut water.
Wishing Well draws inspiration from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, with stained glass behind the bar modeled on the Evil Queen’s castle windows and guest seating beneath a canopy of white blossoms and red apples. A hand-carved wooden performance space nods to the dwarfs’ cottage. The Peddler’s Disguise combines green apple, elderflower, vanilla, and white cranberry in a glass that changes color when filled.
Skygazers is an observatory-themed pub set in an astronomer’s lab, with shelves displaying telescopes, star maps, and references to Disney characters who wished upon stars. The menu includes craft beers, cocktails, and light bites, and the pub will show live sports. Its signature Moonshine blends gin and sake and is topped with a moon-aroma bubble.
The guest-favorite Haunted Mansion Parlor will also reappear, this time with a new drink menu. The spirited lounge first debuted aboard the Disney Treasure before joining the Disney Destiny.
The biggest reveal is Disney Encanto, the first stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning 2021 film. Exclusive to Believe’s Walt Disney Theatre, the show follows Mirabel as she tries to save her family and their magical home. Costumes, sets, and a mix of traditional dance styles draw inspiration from Colombia’s landscapes and cultures, while the soundtrack features Lin-Manuel Miranda’s songs from the film.
Tangled: The Musical, which debuted aboard the Disney Magic, will come to the Believe with a reimagined set and new special effects. And Disney Seas the Adventure, a Wish-class original, rounds out the theater lineup, following Goofy on a journey featuring Disney and Pixar characters and familiar songs.
Beyond the theater, Gazelle will serve as a large lounge and entertainment space, with a design inspired by the city of Zootopia. It will host family activities during the day and adults-only entertainment at night, with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde making their Disney Cruise Line debut in a new family show where guests help the pair solve a case.
Standard staterooms will feature new papercut-style artwork inspired by Moana, Coco, Inside Out, and other Disney and Pixar films. Most include Disney’s split-bath setup, with the shower and toilet in separate rooms, plus raised bed frames with storage underneath. About 70 percent of staterooms have a private verandah, and more than 450 offer connecting doors for larger families.
Concierge staterooms find inspiration from Peter Pan’s Neverland, while a handful of concierge oceanview rooms above the bridge feature a Toy Story theme. Two new royal suites also debut: the Royal Reef Suite, inspired by The Little Mermaid, and the Royal Rose Suite, inspired by Beauty and the Beast.
The ship’s standout accommodation is the Believe Tower Suite, a two-story retreat inside the forward funnel that sleeps eight. Exclusive to the Believe, it draws inspiration from Magic Kingdom, with each room modeled on a different land in the park with light fixtures that evoke fireworks and balloons, while an art piece depicts Cinderella Castle.
Families with young kids are the clearest fit, as Oaken’s Table and Disney Encanto build on two of Disney’s biggest animated hits, and the Believe debuts less than a month after Frozen 3 hits theaters on November 24, 2027. The ship also makes a strong case for adults. The new lounges draw on classic Disney films, and they’re designed with grown-ups in mind. What millennial didn’t dream of ordering a drink at a Little Mermaid bar and sipping it from a seashell?
The Believe also works for cruisers who want a short sailing from Fort Lauderdale, or a quick trip that includes the Haunted Mansion Parlor. And for anyone who loves the Wish, Treasure, or Destiny, it’s a chance to try a new lineup of venues with a familiar layout.
General bookings open October 19, 2026. Disney’s Castaway Club loyalty members get earlier access by tier: Pearl on October 12, Platinum on October 13, Gold on October 14, and Silver on October 15.
