So many memories, so many nuggets.

Hollywood's most famous dating show is coming to an end—and no, it’s not Love Island.
Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date YouTube series, in which she interviews celebrities in a flirty and playful way inside a chicken-shop setting, will end after a “final few dates,” she announced on Thursday, September 3.
“I think we need to talk…” she tased on Wednesday in a short promo video on her Instagram.

It wasn’t until Thursday morning that she posted the official news, saying it’s time for the longtime host to move on from the YouTube show that started it all.
“When I was 17 I had a fantastic idea that I might meet the love of my life on a date in a chicken shop,” reads her IG post. “I’ve spent my entire twenties sitting across from the most incredible people, people I’d always dreamt of meeting. All of them charmed me (some more than others) and I definitely charmed them. To me the show is my very own romcom and I have loved creating so many stories for you to watch."

Her post continued: "I am so grateful to everyone who has followed me on this journey and found some joy in these episodes. I never thought I’d stop Chicken Shop Date, I thought maybe it would be a part of me forever, and in some way it always will, but I feel like it’s now time to move on from this adventure and onto a new one. But before I say goodbye forever, I want to celebrate everything Chicken Shop Date has been for me with a few final dates…coming very soon.”
Dimoldenberg has interviewed countless celebrities, from Sir Paul McCartney and Cher to Billie Eilish and Cynthia Erivo. Her natural charm and humorous interview style has earned her 3.4 million subscribers on YouTube and 2.3 million on TikTok. She’s been a delightful new entry in the celeb interview space, so it’s sad to see her go–at least on that front.
Her next step will be something big—according to Deadline, Dimoldenberg revealed at the Edinburgh TV Festival that she is developing a young adult drama series for the BBC, which she dubbed as “my version of Skins,” as well as an upcoming romantic comedy film with Amazon MGM Studios’ Orion Pictures.
So it won’t be the last of Amelia, just the last of her chicken-fueled dates. We'll be having a goodbye nugget feast in her honor.
