Not to blow our own trumpet, but here at Time Out we like to think of ourselves as custodians of city life. With food, culture and travel experts in dozens of city across the globe, we make it our mission to let you, dear reader, in on the best of what they have to offer.

But now we want your local expertise. Whether you're in Bath or Belfast, Edinburgh or Oxford, Cardiff or Leeds (or anywhere else in the nation, for that matter), we want you to tell us what life in your city is like for you right now.

As part of Time Out’s new survey, we’re asking city dwellers across the UK to rate different aspects of life in their area from one to five – one being ‘awful’, five being ‘amazing’ – and to tell us which parts of your hometown brings them the most joy.

This is your chance to let us know what you think of your city’s nightlife, its public transport, its green spaces and its art, theatre, restaurants and shops. Are they affordable? Are they accessible? Are they even any good?

We also want to know about your social life – like how easy it is to date in your city and how easy it is to make new friends – and whether you think your area is a welcoming place to be.

It’ll only take 10 minutes, and as a thank you, at the end of the survey we’ll give you the opportunity  to enter into a prize draw for a £500 Amazon voucher. If you want to be in the running, you'll need to complete the questionnaire by September 30.

You’ll need to be 18 years or above to take part in the survey. Find all the terms and conditions here
