Classic rock fans, we’ve got big news. Rod Stewart has announced his final ever UK tour. Titled The Final Encore, it’ll stop by major British cities in April and May 2027.
Sir Rod has said that the tour is ‘most definitely my last’ – and so, appropriately, it’ll see him play a solid number of UK cities. He’ll be supported on all dates by ‘What is Love?’ and ‘Things Can Only Get Better’ singer Howard Jones.

When is Rod Stewart going on tour?
Sir Rod’s Final Encore starts in April 2027 and will finish in July 2027.
What UK tour dates have been announced so far?
The following British arenas have been confirmed for the tour:
- Tuesday April 27 – Belfast, SSE Arena
- Thursday April 29 – Glasgow, OVO Hydro
- Tuesday May 4 – Birmingham, Utilita Arena
- Thursday May 6 –Manchester, Co-op Live
- Tuesday May 11 –London, The O2,
When do Rod Stewart tickets go on sale?
General sale goes live at 10am on Friday October 2 2026. You can buy on Ticketmaster here.

Here are all the major presales to know about:
- Artist presale (all dates) – Tuesday September 29 from 10am.
- O2 Priority (all dates) – Wednesday September 30 from 10am.
- Co-op presale (Manchester only) – Wednesday September 30 from 10am.

According to Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, regular, non-VIP prices will range from £78.30 to £220.15.
Premium options will start at £278.80 and go up to £318.80.

Howard Jones, best known for hits like ‘What is Love?’ and ‘Things Can Only Get Better’, will support Rod Stewart on all UK dates.

Commenting on the tour announcement, Sir Rod said: ‘My dear friends, The time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last.
‘I’ve been singing the music I love since I was 19 years old, and I’ve had the privilege of taking it around the world to all of you. It has given me a life beyond anything I could ever have imagined, and I hope I’ve given you some fond memories in return.
