BA is boosting its flights to the US, the Caribbean and the Middle East in 2026

Around this time each year, most of us are beginning to pack away our swimming costumes and flip flops as we prepare to lose those hard-earned tan lines and go into hibernation for the autumn. But when peak holiday season comes to a close, airlines are already busy prepping for the next one.
Last week, British Airways unveiled its plans for summer 2026. It has revealed that it’ll be introducing even more routes from London Gatwick and Heathrow to cities in the USA, Caribbean, Middle East and more, meaning there’ll be tens of thousands more seats available. These newly announced routes come shortly after BA announced that it was adding flights to Rabat in Morocco and Graz in Austria to its winter schedule.
Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ chief planning and strategy officer, said: ‘We’re delighted to expand our long-haul network from London Heathrow and Gatwick next summer, adding more services to some of our most-loved destinations.
‘Whether customers are travelling for business, leisure, or visiting loved ones, we hope they take advantage of these additional flights, which offer greater choice and convenience, making it easier than ever to connect with their favourite destinations around the world.’
