Time Out says

Hitachi Seaside Park is a spacious park in Ibaraki prefecture, famous for its seasonal flowers. In spring, the park is famous for its sea of blue nemophila which bloom from mid-April to early May. There are also plenty of other blooms throughout the season including cherry blossoms, tulips and daffodils. Come autumn, the park's kochia fields are a sight to behold. The small, bushy plants turn from green to a brilliant red when the weather cools down.
