Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs formed Saint Etienne in Croydon in 1990. They made an immediate breakthrough with their debut single, Only Love Can Break Your Heart, a cover of Neil Young’s song that became a club classic. Singer Sarah Cracknell joined the following year, and their debut album, Foxbase Alpha, was nominated for the Mercury Prize.

Their latest album, International, their 13th, was released in September 2025 and took them back into the UK album chart’s top ten. It will also be their final record.

Their Swedish farewell will take place at Börsen, with tickets going on sale on Friday, October 30, at 10:00.

Saint Etienne play Börsen, Jakobsgatan 6, central Stockholm, on Tuesday, March 9, 2027. Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 30, at 10:00 via luger.se.
