Southeast Asia’s largest sake festival returns this March to the F1 Pit Building. The sake-forward affair will showcase more than 500 labels, including several making their Singapore debut – and yes, it’s a free-flow tasting across the booths, so you can sample to your heart’s content. Also joining the line-up is Japan HopFest, a brand-new craft beer festival featuring eight leading Japanese breweries.
Beyond the drinks, the festival introduces the Matsuri Vintage Market in collaboration with The Retro Factory. Browse over 20 vendors offering everything from Japanese virgin vinyl records and handcrafted jewellery to vintage fashion finds. Oatly will also be popping up with coffee for all if you need a mid-shopping recharge.
It’s not all pours and pints. Head to Level 1 for a stacked food line-up featuring Odem, The Oyster Cart, Fatt Choy Eating House, Tensei, Ye Olde Cow, Yoppi, and Assumption Fine Foods. As you tuck in, local indie rock band freereina! will take the stage, alongside live DJ sets to keep the energy up.
