Our love affair with all things Korea shows no signs of slowing down. And while there’s always the option of hopping on a plane to the land of kimchi, you can get a taste of the culture right here at Plaza Singapura from March 6 to 8.
The three-day event brings together over 20 exhibitors, including tourism organisations from Jeju and Busan offering limited-time deals – perfect if you’ve been plotting your next Korea escape. But the real draw is special appearances by Korean stars Ji Chang-wook, Luna of f(x), Kim Dong-hyun of Golden Child, Kang Seung-sik, and Lim Se-jun.
Once you’ve had your fangirl moment, make your way to the food booths spotlighting traditional dishes from 10 different regions across Korea. There will also be celebrity chef showcases on March 8, featuring live culinary demonstrations that promise plenty of sizzle.
K-beauty fans are sorted too, with skincare consultations by Innisfree and make-up demonstrations by Beauty Play and Jungsaemmool. Before you leave, check out the hands-on workshops inspired by Korean heritage – from crafting your own norigae to a Jeju-themed musical box DIY session, as well as a hand fan workshop where you can personalise a piece inspired by Gangwon’s scenic landscapes.
