Adrenaline junkies, you’re in for a treat. The Festival International des Sports Extrêmes (FISE) has landed in Singapore for the first time ever as part of this year’s Urban Sports + Fitness Festival.
From BMX to breakdancing to skateboarding and rollerblading, the two-day event is set to be an exciting showcase of extreme sports, with a slew of demonstrations, competitions and workshops to take part in or witness. Each day begins with sessions for young athletes to learn from the pros, followed by a lively afternoon of cash-for-tricks battles, shred contests and live DJ performances. Think electrifying dance-offs, high-flying action and impressive wheel stunts.
Headlining the festival is multi-time Nitro World Games and X Games medallist Ryan Williams, who will take on double duty as both host and featured rider on the ramps. Meanwhile, breakers Carlota Dudek and Juan “Xak” De La Torre Sanchez are set to take the stage with their explosive dance moves.
Other global talent making an appearance include BMX stars Jean-William Prévost from Canada and France’s Julien Baran, alongside skateboarding champ Pedro Quintas. Following her FISE debut at the FISE World Series in Shanghai, Singapore’s very own Chloe Chua will also be there to rep her hometown. Be in awe of the 8-year-old inline skater and multi-medallist as she shows off her skills.
