Treat Dad to a Korean barbecue feast like no other at this swanky, upscale spot in Como Orchard. Cote, the Michelin-starred restaurant from Miami and New York, might brand itself as a steakhouse rather than a traditional KBBQ joint, but it’s still got all the familiar trimmings of the latter – and much more. The Butcher’s Feast ($118 per person) is a curation of the chef’s favourite USDA Prime and Australian wagyu cuts, salted and grilled right before your eyes, alongside a bevvy of sides (banchan) that pack every inch of the table. You’ll be tucking into kimchi or spicy doenjang stews, piping hot egg soufflé, salads, and of course, making your own ssam (grilled meat wrapped in lettuce) – a quintessential part of the dining experience. Add on other Singapore-exclusive dishes like the Korean ‘oyster omelette’ ($28) and peppery bak kut teh ($58), both of which are elegant twists on hawker favourites.

This Father’s Day, treat your king to a royal feast at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Singapore by Wolfgang Zwiener. For $168 per guest, indulge in a three-course dining experience worthy of a dad-approved nod. Start with a rich, soul-soothing USDA prime black angus short rib in French onion soup, followed by a choice of USDA prime black angus ribeye steak or USDA Colorado lamb chops. Round things off with the steakhouse’s decadent pecan and raisin pie, because no celebration’s complete without dessert. Then toast to your top bloke with The Butcher’s Pour, a bold, exclusive Father’s Day cocktail that’s just as smooth as he is. One of our favourite new restaurants of 2025, Station by Kotuwa captures the fun, communal, and vibrant elements of Sri Lankan cuisine. It’s also a casual, funky alternative to its sister restaurant Kotuwa. Graze on interesting snacks and starters dreamed up by chef-visionary Rishi Naleendra (behind two-Michelin-starred Cloudstreet). Think punchy oysters doused in a tangy lychee acharu granita ($7), or egg roti and chicken liver cooked in Kaliya, a Sri Lankan Malay curry ($14). While the starters are creative and out-of-the-ordinary, the mains are approachable, largely traditional, and sure to fill you up. The whole family can share plates of roasted chicken with devilled butter ($34), braised beef cheek in coconut gravy ($36), and mix-and-match with a range of condiments like the addictive tempered dahl ($8) or eggplant sambal ($15).

Saturdays and Sundays in June 2025

Dads dine for free this year at Boeuf, a casual steakhouse along Telok Ayer which prides itself in ageing all its meats in-house. This Father’s Day, the restaurant is running a month-long weekend deal where dads don’t have to pay a dime for the weekend free-flow feast. The catch? There needs to be three paying diners per table. The free-flow feast ($49.90 per person) features signatures like Black Angus ribeye steaks, beef cheek bourguignon, spiced roasted chicken, and sides like truffle fries, potato pureé, salads, and sourdough. What’s more, children under 12 dine at half-price all month, so that’s more bang for your buck if you’ve got young kids in tow. If you’re popping by on a weekday instead, Boeuf has got a good range of dry-aged grass- and grain-fed prime ribs to select from, sourced from Wales, Scotland, Argentina, Australia, and Japan.

Got a dad who’s a stickler for tradition? You won’t go wrong booking a table at Rempapa, which offers a smorgasbord of dishes spanning Peranakan, Malay, Eurasian, and Chinese cuisines. The restaurant is famously owned by MasterChef Singapore judge and chef Damian D’Silva, who champions his own unique brand of ‘Singapore heritage cuisine’ that blends traditions and flavours. Treat the fam to a hearty spread of babi pongteh ($30), Hakka fried pork ($20), Sri Lankan chicken curry with tomato chutney ($19), and babi tulang masak assam ($35). It’s all honest-to-goodness cooking here, with tons of dishes great for ladling over rice, just like how it’s done at home. Pro-tip: make sure to save space for dessert. You won’t want to miss Rempapa’s assorted kueh platter (from $8 for four pieces) — this changes based on the daily selection but might include favourites like kueh kosui and kueh bengkah.

This burger and craft beer joint is the perfect spot for a Father’s Day celebration if Dad’s the laidback, chill type. This Father’s Day weekend, Black Tap is bringing back the highly raved Boss Burger, available as a pairing with a pint of local brewery Brewlander’s summer ale ($38). Expect a juicy double beef patty stack with bacon, topped with melted American cheese, crunchy lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and slathered with Black Tap’s special homemade sauce – the perfect pairing with a swig of crisp craft beer. Other popular burgers include the classic All-American ($23) or the Greg Norman ($28). The latter features a wagyu patty with a sinful blue cheese spread. And for dads who are kids at heart, the joint’s signature over-the-top milkshakes are sure to delight, but maybe a couple of sips will do, just to keep that sugar intake in check.

Decided on a Chinese feast for this year’s Father’s Day celebration? Visit San Shu Gong for a best-of-both-worlds situation, where you get Teochew and Cantonese dishes all in one menu. The Teochew cold yellow roe crab marinated with Shaoxing wine ($16 per 100 grams) is a must-order if you enjoy sweet, glistening morsels of crab meat chock-full of roe, beautifully deshelled and plated for your convenience. Other table favourites include the pan-fried oyster omelette ($16) with a delightfully crispy underbelly, the deep-fried sea cucumber ($32) for its interesting texture, and the wok-fried cai pu kway teow with homemade XO sauce (from $14). For a warm, comforting accompaniment to the meal, order the pig-stomach-stuffed whole chicken soup ($138) – another crowd favourite at San Shu Gong. Some items require pre-orders, so check ahead to avoid disappointment.

If your dad's favourite show happens to be Top Gear or he's just a big fan of cars, then you'd want to treat him to an afternoon tea that drives straight into his heart.
