After 13 years of operation, the five-star property has just undergone its first full makeover, oozing modern luxury throughout both its public and guest-exclusive spaces.
Most notably different in terms of aesthetics are the guestrooms. Previously sporting a sultry purple-accented colour scheme and that famous mood lighting, the rooms and suites at W Singapore Sentosa Cove are now washed in fresher hues of mint green and turquoise with a splash of coral – an ode to the hotel’s tropical island setting. Custom pillow-top mattresses ensure a good night’s sleep, while high-end bathroom amenities from Momo are a fine touch.
The bathrooms have also gotten a sleek upgrade, with a stylish vanity sink counter separating a rain shower on one side and a bathtub on the other. Taps with inbuilt filters are a thoughtful sustainable addition that reduce plastic waste from bottled water.
While the rooms are havens in themselves, the hotel’s adults-only Away Spa offers an elevated respite with its calming new rainforest-inspired design. Unwind and heal here with infrared heat therapy, a steam room, whirlpool, vitality pool, and even ice baths.
