This time, it’s the westies that get to rejoice, with its new Thai Market now open at Jurong Point.
Boasting a line-up of over 2,000 curated products, Thai Market by Thai Supermarket has all the daily essentials you need from the Land of Smiles. Think ready-to-eat snacks, condiments for home cooking, and pastes for bold curries and soup.
One of the major highlights? A whole Thai instant noodle wall, the first of its kind in Singapore. Discover an entire world of noodle and instant porridge flavours beyond the usual tom yum here, for sneaky suppers or days where you can’t muster the willpower to cook a full meal from scratch.
Replicating the experience of buying street eats at Thai roadside markets are a couple of in-store live food kiosks, where items are prepared to order. The Crispy Crepes serves both sweet and savoury Thai crepes (also known as khanom buang), Thai pandan pancakes, mango sticky rice, as well as Thai green and milk tea.
There’s also Yum Yum Tod Tod, a salad bar that whips up different styles of mango and papaya salad with customisable spice levels, along with crispy pork skin and sour mango sticks served with nam pla whan (a sweet, spicy dip) for easy snacking.
